§The role
Zealot's emulation stack lets autonomous agents boot, instrument, and interrogate opaque firmware — the foundation of every exploit pipeline we ship. You'll own the Linux surface of that stack.
§What you'll do
- Extend our QEMU/Styx fork with new peripheral models, syscall handlers, and introspection hooks.
- Drive coverage on real-world targets shipped by vendors we don't have SDKs for.
- Partner with the AI team to expose emulator state to agents in a way they can actually reason about.
- Own reliability: when an agent's run diverges from silicon, you find out why.
§Who we're looking for
- Deep fluency in Linux internals, kernel subsystems, and userland bring-up.
- Reverse engineering chops — IDA, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, whatever you like.
- Comfort in C, Rust, and Python; you've hacked on emulators or virtualization stacks before.
- Clearance-eligible, U.S. person.
